A Model of Observational Screening for the Analysis of Interaction and Communication (MOSAIC) is a tool used by speech pathologists and others working with people with intellectual disabilities to gather information about how a person with a disability currently communicates. It contains easy to use forms designed to structure your observations of a person with a disability to allow you to pinpoint how much they understand and how they communicate using behaviour, speech and a range of symbols
